Thank you for visiting our candle and soap-making world! We love our work and are passionate about all things handmade. It is our mission to help you create your own beautiful candles, soaps, and other items!
We have been helping makers from beginners with no candle or soap-making experience to experienced candle and soap makers who operate their own successful businesses since 1999.
Our staff understands makers because they are makers just like you! We personally test and use the products we sell, so if you have questions, we are here to help! We are available by phone or email for tech support and any questions you may have during your adventures!
Candles and Supplies.com was established in 1999 by Cindy Novack in her basement. She believes that everyone should have access to professional-quality supplies and instruction, whether you are making for fun or profit. The business started as a home-based business so Cindy could be with her children instead of working in the corporate world.
Candles and Supplies quickly took over the entire house, and a move was needed! Candles and Supplies moved into a larger facility in Coopersburg, PA, in 2000. We kept adding more and more to our line and then had to take over the building next door!
We continued to grow our product line, and another move was necessary! In 2002, we moved to a 40,000 sq. foot warehouse in Quakertown that had room for us to give classes and keep loads of inventory.
We started seeing people travel from all over the world to visit us and realized we needed another change! We wanted a newer, brighter facility to showcase all our fun items and make our visit memorable. We moved to our current facility in September 2014.
Our larger classroom was a hit, but we outgrew it quickly. We needed more warehouse space, so in 2019, we expanded into the two units next to ours, creating a larger showroom, a huge classroom, and additional warehouse space.

We are open to the public and offer in-store shopping at our Quakertown, PA, location. Our bright showroom is stocked with samples of all the products we sell, and many have told us it is the best place on earth! :)
You can look, touch, and feel every item we have, purchase while you are in the store, and take everything home with you. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff of makers are here to help with any questions you may have during your visit!
You can also place your order before your visit, and we will have it ready for you when you arrive. Just think of all of the shipping costs you will save!
The showroom is conveniently connected to our warehouse, so bulk items (wax, jars, etc.) are picked while you wait.
We have samples of all of our scents on our fragrance oils wall for you to sniff. All fragrance oils are freshly poured for your order, and any other warehouse items are gathered by our staff. This allows a one-stop shopping experience!
In-Store Classes
Connected to our showroom, we offer in-person classes in our Quakertown location. Our classroom was relocated and updated in 2019 to offer more classes and accommodate a larger number of students.
We offer classes year-round on a range of topics for beginners and advanced formulators. Every class is hands-on, and we provide everything you need. We feel like the best learning is when you get to work with and actually create right in class!
Our teachers offer a wide array of knowledge on the subject to help you learn and troubleshoot. Class schedules vary and must be registered ahead of time to secure your seat.
