Dubai Chocolate Inspired Parfait Candles ?✨

If you’ve ever tasted Dubai chocolate, you already know how incredibly rich, layered, and irresistible it is. One bite turns into two… and before you know it, the calories add up! That indulgent experience inspired us to recreate the look and aroma of this luxurious treat in candle form — so you can enjoy the decadent chocolate and pistachio vibes without the sugar rush.

These layered parfait candles combine a few simple candle-making techniques to create a show-stopping result that looks good enough to eat. The best part? Once you learn the process, they come together quickly and can easily be produced in batches for inventory, gifts, or craft shows. Customers LOVE dessert-style candles, and this one definitely grabs attention.

This project makes 2 candles, but can easily be scaled up.

Whipped Topping

  • 0.1 oz Hot Fudge Brownie Fragrance Oil
  • 0.1 oz Pistachio Macaron Fragrance Oil
  • White Diamond Dye

Before You Begin

  • Work on a clean, flat surface
  • Measure everything first so the process flows smoothly
  • Dessert candles look best when layers are slightly imperfect — don’t stress about making them perfectly even
  • Keep wax warm but not too hot while working (about 180–200°F works well for most container waxes)

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1 – Prepare Your Workspace

Gather all supplies and equipment. Attach warning labels to the bottoms of jars.

Secure wicks using wick stick-ums and center them using wick bars.

Step 2 – Measure and Melt the Wax

Divide the wax into three pitchers:

Chocolate Wax

  • 7 oz Container Wax
  • 0.5 oz Hot Fudge Brownie fragrance oil
  • 3–5 drops Mocha Liquid dye

Pistachio Wax

  • 7 oz Container Wax
  • 0.5 oz Pistachio Macaron fragrance oil
  • 1 drop Kelly Green dye
  • 1 drop Golden Yellow dye

Whipped Topping Wax

  • 2 oz Container Wax
  • 0.1 oz Hot Fudge fragrance oil
  • 0.1 oz Pistachio fragrance oil
  • White Diamond dye

Heat wax using a melter, double boiler, or griddle set to about 200°F until fully melted.

Stir thoroughly to evenly distribute fragrance and color.

Tip: Let a small amount of wax cool on the spoon to check the final color. Adjust dye if needed.

Step 3 – Pour the Base Chocolate Layer

Allow the chocolate wax to cool slightly.

Pour approximately ½ inch of chocolate wax into the bottom of each jar.

Allow this layer to set while preparing the whipped layers.

Step 4 – Create the Pistachio Whipped Layer

As the pistachio wax cools, a skin will begin forming on top.

Using your spoon, gently whip the wax by folding the thicker wax into the still-liquid wax. Continue mixing until it develops a fluffy, mousse-like texture.

Carefully spoon or pour a pistachio layer over the chocolate base.

Tip: The chocolate layer should be firm enough to support the pistachio layer without blending.

Step 5 – Create the Chocolate Whipped Layer

Allow the chocolate wax in the pitcher to cool slightly, then whip using the same technique.

If the wax becomes too firm, briefly warm it using a heat gun or place the pitcher back on the griddle.

Spoon or pour whipped chocolate layer on top of the pistachio layer.

Step 6 – Final Pistachio Layer

Re-whip pistachio wax and add the final pistachio layer.

Don’t worry if layers are slightly uneven — that adds to the realistic dessert look.

If gaps appear along the glass, gently reheat a small amount of chocolate wax and drizzle along the sides to fill spaces like chocolate syrup.

Step 7 – Make the Whipped Cream Topping

Allow white wax to cool until it thickens slightly.

Whip until light and fluffy.

Spoon or pipe onto the top of the candle to resemble whipped cream.

Step 8 – Add the Garnish

Place wax strawberries or raspberries into the whipped wax while still soft.

Press gently so they stay in place.

Allow candles to cool undisturbed for 24 hours.

Step 9 – Final Touch

Trim wick to ¼ inch.

Your Dubai Chocolate Inspired Parfait Candles are ready to enjoy!
