In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to make lotion candles that melt into warm, nourishing body lotion when lit. These candles are designed to be skin-safe, moisturizing, and indulgent — perfect for self-care, gifts, or future product lines.

Each student will make two lotion candles during class and take them home to enjoy or share.

What Is a Lotion Candle?

A lotion candle looks like a regular candle, but it’s made with a special blend of skin-loving waxes, oils, and butters. When lit, it melts into a warm liquid lotion that can be poured directly onto the skin once the flame is blown out.
