Prerequisite: Lotion Making 101

Lotion Making 102 is for makers who are ready to go beyond following recipes and start formulating their own lotions with intention and control.

This class builds directly on the foundation learned in Lotion Making 101. We will take a deeper dive into the ingredients, benefits, usage amounts and substitutions.

You’ll learn how to adjust textures, change oil phases, customize for different skin types, and create lotions that perform exactly the way you want them to.

This is the class where everything clicks.

In Lotion Making 102, you’ll learn:

• How to formulate your own lotion recipes from scratch

• How to adjust thickness, absorption, and skin feel

• How to choose oils and butters based on skin type

• How to modify existing formulas safely

• How to troubleshoot common lotion issues

Each student will design and create a fully customized lotion formula during class.
