Shells may arrive cracked or broken and we do not offer replacements or credit for broken shells. Pie crusts are designed to be placed into an aluminum pie plate and have embeds and wax poured inside to create your pie. The aluminum pie plate serves as your container and the other contents of the pie keep the candle together like pie crust glue. Therefore it is not completely necessary to have the pie shell in one piece since it is merely a decorative accent covered by a pie plate on the outside and pie filling on the inside.
