Description
Have you mastered cold and/or hot process soap making and want to start making your own liquid soaps? This class is for you!
This is a completely hands-on, step-by-step, liquid soap-making class using multiple recipes and methods. Everyone will be making two batches of soap to take home with them. This Masterclass is at least 4 hours long with a 30 minute lunch break. Class may run longer than 4 hours because we want to make sure that each student has all of their questions answered and leaves feeling comfortable with everything learned in class.
In this class we will discuss:
-Liquid soap types - hand soap, dish soap, body wash, etc.
- Equipment needed
- Ingredients used and why we need all of them
- The entire process and steps involved
- What to expect during the cure time
- Learn soap titration and how to adjust the pH of your finished soap
- Coloring and scenting your finished soap
- Labeling and packaging
Each student will complete all the steps to make their own batch of liquid soap to take home and cure. You do not need to bring anything to class - we provide all the supplies you need.
This class is NOT recommended for first-time soap makers or anyone who is not comfortable working with lye and weighing ingredients. Prior experience making batches of cold or hot process soap is highly recommended to get the most from this class.
